I just received my M1400 on Monday from Dell. Now that I got the machine, I need some kind of portfolio to carry it around in. Can some one recommend one to me? Thanks.

depends on what you're looking for. There's several threads about different baptists. In my case, (was looking for something minimal and highly padded to put in my backpack. Chose the Brain Cell by Tom Bihn. In one of the other threads (if I find it will edit this later) someone also suggested making a padded case. In another someone took a regular notepad portfolio and modified it with velcro. If you could let us know what your want the case to do I'm sure people could better answer with their opinions =)

Small size should fit the m1400.

The M-series portfolio ain't half bad if you are looking for a portfolio. The sleeve I suggested that you are carrying the tablet farther than from office to conference room.

I have the M1400 Motion Computing portfolio. It's pretty substantial (which translates into fairly bulky and heavy.) Includes slots for pen and business cards and a fold over leaf to project the screen.

I bought mine on ebay for 1/2 what Motion charges.

I like the motion slip case I bought for my m1400. I really doesn't fit flush around the edges but other than that, it's great. The X shaped handle thingy on the back makes for easy carrying while walking, and the clear screen cover makes working on the fly easy. I always remove the case when seated at my desk or at home because clicking around the edges is difficult due to the raised plastic cover.

thanks for the input guys. I really just want something to protect the tablet while it's in my backpack. Right now, I like the motion one, waiting for it to show up on ebay...
