Default I was wondering if anyone (or a few people) woul

I was wondering if anyone (or a few people) would be so kind as to take some snapshots of their M200's screen, "in action", under whatever circumstances they find themselves in.

Naturally, LCDs on laptops can't compare to a CRT, but I've seen a number of posts where "everything was great", except the screen. Just wondering how big an impact the viewing angle really is.

Once I order, I will mostly be using my M200 @ school, in a large classroom under a variety of lighting conditions. I'm also hoping to rip some DVDs for on-the-go viewing (the screen would play a factor here, too, I guess...)

    Any shots are appreciated :)

Your best option would be to check an m200 at a brick and mortar or if you know someone else who has one.... I dont think a picture would really do justice. The m200 is as nice as other tablet screen, just that at 1 angle it becomes nearly unviewable. Not bad if you are the only one viewing the tablet, but if you are showing it off to a friend you will find yourself jostling around for the best angle. Like bigscreen TV's used to be.

I really wish they had a different screen. I haven't seen the new motion screen on the 1400 yet, but I hear it is nice. Hopefully Toshiba follows suit. As for now I am enjoying THE M200, like they say, a bird in the hand....

Here's a thread from a while back about viewing angles on the M200/05's.

i wouldnt mind seeing pics also but i dont think that it would work out well... i dont think tat it would give a good idea of what the viewing angle is like. i do wish i could see it in person before i got it, but there is nowhere around for me to do that. but i have played around with the toshiba 3500 and i did notise that viewing angle on that to be a bit bad but it was defentable liveable!

What about a movie? (My digital camera supports movies)

Then one could rotate / angle the screen to convey the effect...

If / when I buy this laptop, I think I'm going to design an entire website, just for it... ;0

I'll post a 30 second movie once my M200 arrives. I have a Digital Camera that can do that.

I'm not sure photos really demonstrate the problem or the issue well, but here's a few I snapped today. Maybe this will help someone.

My Toshiba Protege M200 arrives tomorrow. I'll try to remember to post a movie of me panning the TPC back and forth. Heck I'll get a daughter to play Vanna :)
