I recently installed the GoBinder 2005 Beta, and noticed that I do not have the eBinder printer installed. I did uninstall the TabletPlanner trial that came installed on my M200, and noticed that it uninstalled a printer along the way. Not sure if the two are related... In any event, reinstalling the GoBinder trial does nothing to help.

Anyone have any ideas? I think GoBinder might fit the bill nicely, but I really need the eBinder print driver.

Here's what I'd try: After uninstalling GoBinder, make a check of printers and ensure GoBinder or TabletPlanner printers are gone. Delete remnants, if any. Reboot computer to ensure OS has released all locks on printers, printer files, etc. For sanity, make another quick check of printers to ensure nothing showed up, then install GoBinder.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did receive a response from Agilix tech support, and you're close: the printer was definitely removed by the uninstall of TabletPlanner, unfortunately the registry entries were not removed. Deleting two registry keys that reference the Agilix printers did the trick.

If anyone else has the same problem, I'll be happy to post the keys to delete, along with the process. Agilix was, as always, prompt and on the mark, and they're currently working on a better solution.

Install Gobinder, Stop the Print Spool and Fax services (right-click My Computer, select Manage, and go down to services), and reinstall Gobinder)

thanks . . . i found a solution from another post that involved installing another printer via control panel, then uninstalling and reinstalling gobinder. maybe that is the essence of your post also. thanks!
