I want to start using the alert scheduling features in this program and get some idea as to what would be the most productive uses for it.

Well longlife I use it to remind me of upcoming appointments.

If I already have a panel of notes on the person that I will be seeing, I link the alert to that panel so that when the alert goes off, it displays my notes for the appointment.
