Any recommendations on the above? I'm looking to throw my screen onto a large(r) tv for presentations and was wondering if any has had success or failures with this?

Gee great minds think alike. I was wondering the same. Gateway makes a port replactor for $135.00 I belive it has a S out. If there is a vga to s cable that would be good to view photographs who ever reading text on a TV monitor does not work out as good.

hey,
I was looking at these VGA-to-TV converters. Has anyone tried using them to watch movies or play games?
Any feedback on the quality? Refresh rates suppported?

i beleive most non-high end tvs (or even high end ones using s-video ) i beleve olny support 60 hertz

I recommend using a plasma screen TV, with a pc input!
I dont know how much the company i work for paid for it. But its awesome for presentations. Or just get a projector like my brother did.

The port replicators are only $40 new on ebay. That's where I got mine, and it has SVHS output.
