how does that work?
stop the speculating because I just placed my order for the DOTHAN from insight.com
The rep and I were able to scope out the complete 1.6 system for cheaper than the $1949 on the website. And I biught it and it is on the way. The toshiba people told my rep 7-10 build and ship time.
Anyway hopefully I will be seeing it soon.
If anyone else is interested the reps email is sgood@insight.com
Can wait for my tablet!
how does that work?
email the rep if you are wanting to order one before toshiba gets their act together and get it finally posted on their website...
But I don't understand how THEY have a connection to the Dothans without voiding a warranty. Also, how much did you spend?
insight simply places the order through toshiba, the system is completely new with the same 3 year warranty...
I dont know why toshiba is allowing some of their resellers to get the dothan m200 ahead of them selling it on their website... I would guess it wont be long coming from the toshiba website (after all we thought it had been available as of this weekend, and even saw the link)
At any rate insight is a huge compnay many of you might have similar luck through cdw or newegg, although it may take a direct phone call.
Anyway I know that Shawn (sgood@insight.com) can certainly get you an m200 dothan coming without too much trouble.
I paid $1944 for mine...
What are the exact specs on the system you are getting?

When you get it and it contains a Dothan and not the old chip, I'll believe it. I hope your'e right, but it just doesn't sound right...
