I work for a company that sells a lot of Tablet PCs (specifically Acer brand.) I have a problem that is driving me crazy, crazy enough to register here and ask the question :D

I have a Journal template that was created by printing a word document to the Journal Note writer and then saving it as a template. I open up a new note from this template and mark it up, add signatures etc in Whole Page view. If I print this document out the handwriting does not line up with the journal note in the background. It appears to get less accurate from top to bottom. More confusingly if I switch the view to 100% or any other mode the markup no longer lines up the the journal note.

I checked the simple stuff like page size and Display Measurements, and everything appears to be correct in Journal. I even downloaded and installed SP2 RC2 to see if this was fixed but the problem remains. (The new TIP is pretty sweet, btw.)

So, my question to the community is: Have any of you seen this issue before? Any hints on what to check or change to figure this one out.

I've tried duplicating your process except printing to the PlanPlus printer instead of a physical printer and everything stays lined up.

I'll install a physical printer and play with it and will let you know what I find.

I tried printing the journal note to the printer...no problems.

Have you tried deleting the journal printer and reinstalling it?
