how can I add italian support for handwriting recognition

Here's some info from the MUIRP announcement last year:

The MUIRP extends user interface language support for the Microsoft® Windows® XP Tablet PC Edition operating system — originally released in English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese — to several new languages, including Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Spanish, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese and Swedish. The MUIRP also allows the installation of a Spanish handwriting recognizer, enabling users to automatically translate notes that were handwritten in Spanish into text.


In addition, you may find using a Special Interest Dictionary can meet your needs. Some foreign languages work better than others.

No, I was referring to the MUIRP, and inferring to the Italian SPID at the website in my Sig.

Considerable confusion exists between the MUIRP and the TRP (your link reference). It is unclear to me whether Italian handwriting recognition is available in Lonestar, that may be an alternative as well. But that's another story.
