Since I upgraded my RAM to 1GB total, I have noticed the back of my Tablet is much much warmer than before. Not so much that I can't touch it or use it but it is somewhat disconcerting. Anyone else have this going on with thiers?

If it is not uncomfortable to the touch, then it is probably not an issue.

If memory serves (because it has been awhile since I brought the TC1100 up to a gig) it may be running a little warmer than before the upgrade, but not so much that it caused alarm or discomfort.

I have been working with my TC1100 in hand for two hours. Screen up full, wireless on, default processor speed for battery profile.
While it is warm, it is not at all uncomfortable
I am running with 1 gigabyte of RAM.
512 stock 512 Kingston

Is there anything else besides the additional ram that could be raising the heat?
Are you
charging the battery?
running at "full power"?
running CPU intensive tasks?

Since my original posting I decided to charge the battery, and it is not noticeably warmer.

Thanks for the reply....You are correct. The unit is by no means "uncomfortable" to touch or hold, but it is noticeably running warmer than before the upgrade of RAM. I upgraded using a GEIL Golden Dragon 512MB SO-DIMM 333MHz PC2700 from Fry's (oh yeah, it's funny but the packaging the RAM came in looks like it costs more than the RAM itself to manufacture....pretty gold tri-fold box ohhhhhh:D:D). Anyway, I just wanted to see if this was normal which I pretty much assumed. I'm just a bit cautious because I spent a lot of money on this Tablet/3yr warranty and don;t really want to have to send it in for a repair!!
