They also work on LS800 which is great, like the new features
Recently I try to install on my LE1600 drivers from LE1700 and they run sucesfuly from days by now.
The following drivers are 100% compatible:
- motion dashboard
- virtual businnes card
- motion dataguard
- and omnipass. Here I try to update my omnipass ver 5.00.13 to 5.00.53 and they don't allow me to do it, so I uninstall my old version (registered) and I put the new one (30 day trial). Of course I have been unhappy with that and I have replace setup.exe from old version to new one and... voila, new omnipass ver 5.00.53 no trial.
The features of these drivers:
- the screen light will dimm automaticaly after 15, 30.... sec of inactivity (user defined).
- new hdd monitor on system tray and battery health.
- aded virtual bussines card on bootscreen in case of your tablet it's lost.
- better control of security and settings, etc.
Today I will try TMP, button and graphic drivers (modded of course) and I will let you know.
Sorry for my bad english.
They also work on LS800 which is great, like the new features
I tried upgrading my registered Omnipass 5.00.13 and it did not work with replacing the setup.exe file from the registered to the full version. I need that virtual business card app.
Robert,
Is the Os XP or Vista.
Kev...
For me its Vista. All drivers work fine except I was unable to register my Omnipass. So I had to reinstall 5.00.13
does motion dataguard actually work on LE1600 meaning does the LE1600 have an accelerometer for the hardisk?
nuclear,
please give me your email address to send you the omnipass if you want.
kevjey,
my os it's vista
techieee,
motion dataguard it's visibile in dashboard but I don't see if LE1600 have an accelerometer for the hardisk.
Thanks email sent. Also I would like to show you all the 2GB RAM Upgrade i did to my LE1600. Now it has a total of 2.5GB RAM. I also upgraded it to 300mbps Wireless N. I also just added a 16GB CF SSD. http://www.sparklan.com/product_details.php?prod_id=174
Enjoy. I think our LE1600's are going to be awesome.
Oh yea dont forget to apply AS5 to your processors!
Oh yes i am going to test Unreal Tournament 3 on my fully upgraded LE1600.
Wow, the dashboard is driving my CPU wild 100% constantly, had to remove and install the old version.
Nuclear,
Very interested in your upgrades and what is AS5.
Kev...
Oops almost forgot to post the pictures of the 2GB upgrade. Anyways as you all know there is 512MB onboard fixed memory and 1 expansion slot. I took out the 1GB RAM out of the expansion slot and put in a 2GB DDR2 660mhz stick. But in the bios and vista it only shows 2GB for some reason.... >.< it should show 2.5GB since +512mb onboard :S Anyways i also upgraded to wireless N. Weird thing is that Wireless N card has 3 antenna connectors. Our regular abg cards have only 2 connectors. still i figured out where the AUX and MAIN cables go so the wireless n card works but i never really checked it out with a wireless n router. it claims its speed of 300mbps really fast wifi. i get the white colour indicator light and everything is functional. atheros drivers etc etc.
AS5 is Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound applied on the processors and then the heatsink is placed on it. It keeps low temperatures. A very good solution to keeping the LE1600 a bit cooler.
