Congrads! You picked a great machine!
All of the accessories are compatible except the pen.
I could only play with it for a few minutes, had to head off to work, but I got it booted up and it's charging away now.
A few initial things I noticed. First five minutes of ownership, and I'm happy. I bought this sight-unseen, as I've never seen a tablet in person before.
Size seems just right...keyboard thing seems cool...although it tends to make the tablet wobble when I type. (Maybe I just need a lighter touch?)
Pen seems a bit off to me...I tap to close a window...I tap again...I tap harder...it closes. Was it because I wasn't tapping hard enough, or is it just slow? Eh, I'll find out when I can get back home to play with it.
Now then, on to the questions...despite product number differences, what are the compatible accessories between the tc1000 and the tc1100? Docking stations? AC Adapters? Batteries? I know the pens aren't.
No doubt...many more questions later.[^]

Yes, the accessories (power supply, battery, docking station) are interchangeable. The pen and Compact Flash accessories are not.

As always, WN is there with his thorough advice for new tablet users. Welcome, Squig-Brain, to the club. Enjoy your new obsession. :)
P.S. Grab a copy of Linenberger's book, "Seize the Work Day." I'm about half-way through the book, and I can definitely see value in his advice on streamlining your professional life through use of the Tablet PC. The book is worth every penny.
Hmmm...sounds to me like somebody should make WN's spiel a sticky!
I got most of it from browsing the forum before my purchase, but it would be nice to have it up-front in a convenient location.

Dave,
Working on it.
Still, it's nice to add a personal touch acknowledging the make/model of the Tablet PC that someone is using.
Sorry if it seems too much like a spiel.
The welcome and intent are sincere.

Hey, I in no way meant spiel as a bad thing! I like it!
Also, the model-specific stuff is great...I meant for it to be a sticky here, in the HP forum.

WN,
Please, please, please don't change! You are very much appreciated.
Dave,
I've been meaning to do this for a couple of days. Just needed that last little bit of a push.
Welcome New Tablet PC User
And it *is* a sticky.
Thanks Dave
