when i try to import into journal, or print to journal from a document, my text document ends up as a negative, with a black background and white text...this is ok for on the tablet but i want to print it out and this is not practical with so much black...is there a setting i can change to make the document stay the same as the origional?

Hmm... I haven't heard of this before. I just looked, and I don't really see any settings that could control this. Could be an issue with having some sort of third-party printing system installed. You wouldn't happen to have anything like that would you?

You might also try deleting the journal printer and then reintalling it.

this is a new tablet for me, but used by the store as a demo...so there are no other printers installed...also when i save it on a zip disc and then take the zip to my other computer to print it the form comes out white background, with black text...but the writing i have done is the color i have chosen, but there are not too many colors that show up well on black and also print so you can see it...so i choose red...black would not show up on the tablet, and white would not print...

I don't know what software state your store demo tablet came in, but if you or the store staff did not do a complete bare metal restoration of the software, that is where I would start.

The number of things that random people do to demo computers can't be understated.

If the drive has been formated and a fresh install of the stock factory software image has already been done, please accept my apologies.
