Looks like a vendor is ramping up for something....
20gb harddrive, 256mb of RAM, 1.4ghz and 802.11G!
Ok guys, what's this? Sorry if there's some "I should've known that - I'm an idiot" answer to this. After a search on google for "M1400 motion" this was the 3rd link behind our thread on the buzz.

That would be a heck of a machine. Makes me wonder about the whole "no fan" argument behind not being able to exceed 1ghz. Perhaps they will have an option that does have a fan or it may be a future model for when the new chips come out.

20GB HD? Need double that at least, no?
I think we're seeing their entry level.
Yea, the only statistic that is important is the 1.4ghz CPU (assuming that's what 1.4 means - for all we know it's just the 1400 model number turned into a decimal ;) ). The rest is easily upgraded - even now.
Looks good.
I wish there were physical dimensions available.
it would make sense that they would keep the dimensions the same as their current models. I get the feeling they would piss alot of people off if their new model wasn't compatible with the current line of accessories out right now. That flex dock is nice, but it's also an expensive piece of equipment. Can you imagine having to buy a whole other set of accessories for the new tablet?!?!
Here's to hoping Motion remembers their customers who put them on the map! :D
It does make sense. If I had a Motion already and was looking to upgrade and I could keep all my accesories I'd be very likely to buy the Motion 1400. If I had to buy all new accesories anyway then I'd be much more likely to try another brand.quote:Originally posted by blazio
