I've heard of people buying the Motion M1300 and then painting the body - air brush, etc.
In my opinion, the HP TC1100 has coolest looking design. Not exactly funky, but cool.
It's expensive, but the Panasonic Toughbook CF-18 has such an odd design it looks almost like a games device. And yet, it also looks incredibly rugged (it is!). Definitely kit from another planet.
