Mine is pretty tight too. I think it is mostly due to the connector on the bottom. All the laptop docking stations that I have used were spring loaded and had a switch on them that would release the system. Something like this would be very nice.
you know, i like my flex dock but it's a bit hard getting my M1300 out of it when i want to use it away from the flex dock. anyone else have this experience as well? I wish there was a release latch of some sort on the flex dock...i'm just paranoid about yanking out the tablet and losing my grip in the process.
I just see my M1300 flying across the room as i yank it from the flex dock. [:O]

What I do is reach around behind the tablet with one hand to hold the dock down pressing on the top of the tilt mechanism. I then grab the tablet with the other hand and give it a good yank. Holding the dock down really helps.
Well I figured out a work around the whole yanking the flex dock out.
When i ordered my tablet, i ordered it with two pens. well, the boxes for the pens came in this white foam container. The edges of the foam container were about an inch thick, so i cut out a long piece to fit in the canal of the fflex dock where the connector is located. I actually cut the pieces in two so the docking connector wouldn't be covered up and then cut the pieces in half so they were only half an inch thick. I placed the foam pieces in the canal and placed my tablet in and -walaa!- it worked! Now it isn't as hard to pull the tablet out from the flex dock because when it's docked it sits on the little foam pieces and gives it some "breathing room!"
