hi, sorry for the ignorance, but what is the difference between regular/pro/student office 2003? and does the student addition have the same compatibility/functionality with tablets as the other versions?

also, is one note useful? (law student here)

    thanks in advance!

one Note is very useful. Great program. play with journal first, then try One Note. You'll see why it is So good.

Except for the ink, which will likely be more Journal-like in the next release. OneNote is an incredible program, practically tailor-made for students.

RUN, don't walk to get OneNote. It has completely revolutionized the way I do business and I can't even remember what it was like to write on paper anymore or file something in a drawer!

Definitely get OneNote, it's only $50 for students. I use it all the time for meetings with clients and during hearings and trials. Which tabletPC did you get? You might also want to look at GoBinder (s/p?), there is a page on it somewhere. As former law student (Washington Univ. School of Law), highly recommend tablet for school and work.

if you are a law student, you should be able to pick up OneNote at your school coop/store for about $50 bones.

Reorg (also check ebay - academic version for $50 - $59.

I downloaded the OneNote trial but was confused by all the "boxes" every time I entered new information. I then forgot about it, and the trial expired. Is there a way to avoid the "boxes" when a new bit of into is added to a page?

Also, I really don't want to buy it withoug trying it fist (yeah, I know it's my own darn fault!) Is there anywhere that I can see a demo?
