Capt Ron,
If I say "open Microsoft Word" or "start Microsoft Word" or "launch Microsoft Word" it works for me.
You don't have to articulate every syllable carefully, and it seems to work best if I say it like:
"startMicrosoftWord"
How can I add commands? When I say "Launch Word" I get WordPad. I can't launch any of the Office 2003 apps. Is there a list of commands? I tried the "What can I say" but it's real vague.
Thanks
Ron.
OH! I'm using WinXP Tablet speech.

Tried that. I'm starting to hear that BUZZ "What was that?" in my sleep now.
Is there something I have to do to Office?
Ron.

Ron,
What kind of microphone are you using. (headset is good, built-in probably marginal)
How much "training" have you done. (more is better)

Using a logitech USB headset mic. Only gone through the 1 training. Figured I'd do more later. Thought that the commands were pre-built and not trained??

They are built in to the OS, but it still has to know if you say Word, Ward, or Wood when you mean Word.
