1 View Anywhere Toshiba [without a hard drive, o ring, drive cable] - any tips where I can get one of each ?

I have seen LE1700s shipped with Vista and having the View Anywhere sticker .... but with a Toshiba (Not Hydis, aka not UltraView) display.

Is the display on full brightness ?
Do you have a View Anywhere LE1600 ?

Open the Motion Dashboard .. click [Display] ... set it all the way to BRIGHT and click FIXED.

The units (he had 25)(now 22) are View Anywhere displays, shipped with Vista. I was told a while back that "all" View Anywhere displays shipped with Vista were Hydis, but Motion...

I'd probably view the .pdf documents on a tablet like an ipad or some android and hand write my notes.
A cool thing, which wouldn't take long would be to scan all your notes into .pdf format and...

Do you need to read outdoors ? No Tablet or TabletPC does that really...

There are two main types of Tablet PCs : slate (no keyboard) and convertible (has keyboard).
Do you need to type alot, or would inking with a pen work OK ?

My Cross Tablet Pen works on LS800, LE1600, LE1700 and M200s.
My Motion pen works on LS800, LE1600, LE1700 and M200s.
My Toshiba M200 pen works on LS800, LE1600, LE1700 and M200s.

Doesn't recognize audio seems like a software problem.
WIFI .... hard to say ... probably hardware.
Battery ... sounds dead.

I'd get a $300 Motion LE1600 off ebay ... finding one that likely has...
