Awesome! Thanks for the tip!
All I can say is that there is a plethora of issues around Vista, sleep and stand-by on many different systems. Hopefully, SP1 addresses most of them.
Definitely not right. I'd get it fixed. Shouldn't be too big a deal if you have onsite. I had a Toshiba laptop with a similar problem. I put off getting it fixed until the thing actually fell down...
Just a thought here, since I haven't tried this. Are you sure that you're set up to install to the correct partition? Good luck, and hopefully the pros will jump on here & help out.
Sorry, the webcam on the tx 2000 doesn't rotate.
Sounds like a delicate operation! I'm impressed!
I know I've posted the same tip somewhere at GBM. I don't think I started the thread. I haven't looked for it lately.
I have done this with OneNote by printing the PDF without sig to OneNote, getting the signature in OneNote, and then publishing the document as a PDF from OneNote. Result, an embedded and...

Sorry to hear about your loss. If you want to resurrect it, I think eBay is probably the best place to look for parts or for one with a bad screen or something that you could get cheap.
Have you tried downloading the drivers you need from the Toshiba website?
Thanks for the input, Stockmarket!
I agree that nobody should try to write anything of substance in the tip, converting as you go, but some of us still enjoy composing longhand. I can empathize...
Good luck, Jenni!
Keep on asking questions and look around for reviews and video reviews of computers that look interesting.
Welcome to the wonderful world of the tablet PC. I just wanted to chime in with a couple of things.
1. Gateway used to distribute Motion Computers, so there are Motion 1300's out...
I can't get two full windows to run, but it is possible to have OneNote and a side note. That works for me when I want to take notes from my notes!
Check out Quick Verse. It is a good Bible software program with the capability of many versions. You can pick the ones you want, and do some comparisons of translations. Also has Strong's...
