I'd suggest checking Ebay. TC1000's are running for around 1k.

Also, check the For Sale thread here. With the Tc1100 out now the TC1000's are appearing for sale. To tell the truth, I would rather deal with people who are active at Tabletpcbuzz than many on eBay. I appreciate the people who hang out here and would help them first.
