It's always been my experience that a program like that is only good when you are dealing with multiple computers and you want/need to maintain them all up-to-date and the same. Compaq has not been releasing updates on a daily basis, so I think it would be silly to waste computing power on Active Update.

Just keep an eye on the forums and check the web site periodically. When something new comes out, you'll know. [^]
