It looks like ubid may have found a few acers. They are on bid now for $1099 now and are refurbished. They come from ubid warehouse so they may be eligible for extended warranty.
I'm not sue how great this price is but I just thought I'd post for those who might be interested in checking it out.

Just to let people know: Acer does not offer extended warranties on its refurbished tablets.

I think Ubid uses a different warranty coverage. It is a little like the coverage they offer you for an extra charge at CompUSA, BestBuy, etc. It's always good policy to check on that prior to purchasing though.
