Java Tablet PC SDK?

Does anyone know if there is there a Java version of the tablet PC SDK (or any other inking API) in the works?

I wouldn't get your hopes up. Microsoft themselves would have practically zero interest in making it, and given such a small TPC market I doubt Sun would for a while either.

You could, however do one of the following:
1) interop with the native TPC api
2) program it in a .NET language (which includes J#)
3) use a .NET language to create an interop layer to the Java world
