Do you use the pen button to right-click or do you use the press and hold method?

Ok, wow, very interesting results here, I am in the press and hold camp, I find when I enable the button I always press it accidentally. Very interesting to me to find such an even split for something that seems to be very integral to interfacing with the tablet. I wonder how Microsoft felt about this during the testing phase?

I am not familiar with the press and hold method.
I just press the pen button and tab on my screen for right clicks. [xx(]
I usually just turn the pen around so that button if facing down and my finger isn't pressed against the button when I am writing.

I use the pen button only mode, I don't tap the screen at all to right click.

Hey Justin,
I've been wanting to use that feature, but it won't work for me. Where do you go to enable that? I wonder if having the Wacom Drivers installed prevents that feature from working.
Any thoughts?

Go into control panel, under Wacom Pen. Then go to advanced and change it to click only. Then change the button's function from tablet-defined to right click. I don't have my tablet right here, so some options may be called something different. Otherwise you're all set.

I use the press and hold. Works better for me, since I had a tendancy to "accidentally" hit the most retardedly placed super sensitive button on the planet. Good Idea that was placing a button right where my fingers hold the pen...
Oh well, that's why I followed the Matrix pen mod, and am wondering why I didn't do it a long time ago!

Couldn't agree more DyS, and it seems that more than a couple of people don't like this button's placement either. Right where one holds the pen, and even if I try to place the button on the bottom I end up rolling it aroud in about 3 seconds.

Ok, wow, very interesting results here, I am in the press and hold camp, I find when I enable the button I always press it accidentally. Very interesting to me to find such an even split for something that seems to be very integral to interfacing with the tablet. I wonder how Microsoft felt about this during the testing phase?
I have the TC1000 and do not find wayward button presses a problem. In fact, at times I juggle the pen around trying to find the button when I need it.

I occasionally get a bad click, but the way I hold my pen is by placing the button between by thumb and index fingers. It's how I hold a normal pen, so it was a pretty natural shift. However I bought a Sensa Cloud 9 off ebay. I'll see if this new model won't interfere with the EMR. The Matrix is little too rich for my blood. Though I may look at the Cross Morph 2 as it has "matrix" technology and can be found on ebay at around $30.
I tried the no tap right click, but I started having clicks going on before I touched the pen to the screen. That was very annoying as the location where this occured was where the minimize, maximize and close buttons are on a maximized window. It's fixed now, but damn it was weird.
