For those of you in the legal field, I know the Tablet PC has been touted as an ideal solution for attorneys. In fact I have been using a Toshiba 3505 in my practice for several months now, and I find it tremendously useful. However, my question is: does anyone have any information regarding practice-specific software, particularly real estate and estate planning software, that has been TPC-enabled? Alternatively, does anyone have any info on up-and-coming software in the near future of this nature?

Not yet. But you got to believe it's coming.

I have a client that is waiting for that kind of specific software. I would imagine that Timeslips would be coming out with a version that is tpc enabled.

I have taken a gander on legal software sites, but I have yet to see anything specific with TPC functionality. Timeslips is helpful but minor, in that it really only logs billable hours and ties in to back office accounting software. I am hoping for some kind of hybrid "Tablet Planner"/relational database, something along the lines of Time Matters, but with TPC functionality. I would also like to see real estate closing software and estate planning software that will accept handwriting and convert to text while also offering intuitive storage of repetitive data, so that pleadings, affidavits, and other information is easily automated accross a variety of forms.

The only thing I have heard about is the software being developed by the Leszynski group for Weil Gotshal. This software supposedly will be released in this fall or winter.
