I'm not understanding how to paginate in One Note. Should I extend a page indefinitely or should I use the sub page feature? lf the latter, it could be a little more obvious and may be easier to get to. Any thoughts?

It's half an organizational question and half personal preference. Personally I mostly use the subpage feature (I use it as if it was the next piece of paper in my binder). But, I sometimes extend the page to continue a sentence or if I'm in midthought (akin to jotting a few final things down on the margins of the piece of paper). I've also used it when I include a summarizing chart or diagram tied to a concept on the page.

I have taken to extending the page when working with an outline to avoid having to manually renumber on the following subpage.

I've found that I frequently don't have to extend pages, but I have also found myself taking notes and writing differently...I flip back and forth to the page I want to add information too, and not necessarily writing continuously on one page
