Thanks

No. Try using the "Always on" power setting. That bumps the processor back up to full speed. Does it still happen?

It happens if plugged into power or not, always on or not. The condition can be forced by opening TIP panel. After close of TIP panel condition remains. It also occurs after moving cursor around screen. Very frustrating, I like the way the product works.

Hmmm. The only comparable experience I've had is after a several days w/o rebooting, ink occasionally refuses to appear in the TIP. After rebooting, it clears up.

Does the lag appear after a reboot when MM is the only app you have run?

After reboot same condition. Tried new drivers, Video, etc from gateway. No change.

Curious. I can't reproduce it on mine. I wonder what else you may have loaded at the same time. Anything like PenOffice, ritePen etc. might also be tracking the cursor.

Actually, running a centrino c110, I also notice a cursor lag (defined as a slow tracking of the pen). It's slower within mindmanger than any other app. I think it's a software problem/weakness with MM. You can look at how much the processor is working by minimizing the task manager after hitting ctrl alt del. If I move my cursor around in another app, the cpu isn't getting used much. I do the same in MM, and it goes above 50%.

Talked Mind Manager today and they are not going to fix the problem at this time if ever. BUMMER! I realy like the program but am unwilling to pay what they are asking, for this type of performance.

I have the same issue. Looks like it is CPU bound, on my machine. only happens in Pen mode. very noticeable lag, but I can still funciton ok.
