I tried Zonealarm on the (Compaq) Tablet PC, but with every warning or acknowledgement the Pen doesn't work anymore. Every ohter point device works fine. Work around is to press Ctrl-Alt-Del and the pen works again. With other personal firewalls (Norton, Sygate) no problem.

Is yours pro version? Coz I'm intending to install on my st4110.

No, the freeware version, but I'm curious to know whether the Pro version has the same bug.

You might want to do a forum search for Zonealarm. This undocumented feature has been reported in several threads and a work-around has been reported. I can't for the life of me remember what it was, but it does exist.

I tried the Pro version (using the free trial period) and it did the same thing.

The problem is know and you will find a solution. Older Pro version was recommended.

To save you the effort, use tha latest ZA Pro, and in the general preferences uncheck Protect The ZA Client". This gets rid of the pen input dying. Works great now.
