Why cant i use Office 2000 on my tablet PC? Do I have to purchase Office XP? Any cheaper alternatives?

You can, of course, install and use it, but it's not INK enabled, and the addon ink only works with office XP.

I don't know of any other office suites that are offering direct ink use.

You can get the Beta for Office2003 and wait for the GA release.

You don't 'buy' the beta. All I paid was S&H. I will have to buy the package in November as the beta license expires...
