I need some help with sticky Notes! I have looked at the application and wonder what I would use it for. I would like to create notes that I could stick to my desktop and be able to read them. When ever I copy a note to the desktop I simply get an Icon. How are others using this application? It seems to me that Microsoft developed this application before Journal and they simply are giving it away now.

Sticky notes has become the place I put rarely used logins, security codes and other pieces of occasionally needed handwritten references that just don't fit well anywhere else.

I think of the program as a digital "Sticky Note." The icon is like the yellow sticky note pad. It is a place to organize your notes if you want. I keep wondering if I am overlooking something important with this applicaton. Personally, when I want to keep a note I put it in Outlook where I can sync it on the go with my ipaq.
