Do you want an easy way to monitor and control the speed of the CPU in your tablet? Speedswitch version 1.2 fixes some previous problems with non-Intel CPU's. you can find it here http://www.diefer.de/speedswitchxp/index.html

Doesn't seem to affect the TC1000's Crusoe. It just reads the speed as 995 all the time, even when Transmeta's app shows it as 300.

From the first sentence in the SpeedSwitch description:

"SpeedswitchXP is a small applet that sits in the system tray and allows dynamic switching of the frequencies of Intel and AMD mobile CPUs under Windows XP."

This is all I had read, seemed to imply any non-Intel. nm.
