I am looking for a portfolio kind of thing for my C110 where you can just zip open the portfolio and start writing on it. I went to Fry's Electronics and the mall last night but didn't have much luck.

Anyone have any suggestions? I thought about getting of those existing ringed portfolios, remove the ring binder and customize it so I can secure my C110 onto it.

Franklin Covey has one specially for Tablet PC's...but it is not really something you can attach anything to...you can put your tablet in it and unzlip it and carry it around...but you would have to velcro the unit into the right side if you want to attach it...I have not seen the bottom of the 110, but on my 100 it has these small padded legs that prevent it from sitting flat on the table...hence there is noplace to attach the velcro...if you do, you risk one of two things: the only "recessed" area is over the name/address label on the bottom of the unit -- THAT PULLS OFF THE MACHINE! DO NOT ATTACH THERE!!! -- or on the memory unit. If you place it on the memory unit, your Acer will not stand on the padded feet when used in laptop mode, and will wobble on your desk. If you don't intend to ever take it out of the portfolio, I guess that works. When I first bought my Acer, I spent weeks looking for the right case. I thought the Franklin would do the trick since it was "specifically designed for the tablet pc"...but when I found there was no way to attach it, I didn't need yet another leather carrying case when the Acer itself is smaller and fits into the carrying case I have. I wrote an e-mail to Franklin...they responded that it "was not intended to attach the tablet to the case, merely to be used as a carrying case". OK...and that would make sense since the only place to attach the velcro in the binder itself is actually a flimsy material pocket...not safe to even attach a lightwight slate to that.

I have another post online here called "frantically looking for cases"

I have yet to find anything I really like -- I too would like the portfolio thing if anyone finds anything. Toshiba makes one for their convertable tablet PC that attaches to the lid and the bottom...but it doesn't fit the acer which is smaller by about two inches.

I have settled on a Brenthaven carrying case that was originally designed for the small new apple portables, abd it just the right size for everyday use -- I have on order a "Case Closed" black leather messenger Teddy Jr bag which I think will be better for business purposes.
