UPDATE: Dell has completed the XT3 ordering page with deliveries to start in late September:
http://www.dell.com/us/business/p/latitude-xt3/pd
The XT3 features an N-trig digitizer, but will feature a new digital pencil design that will be longer than the existing battery-powered digital pencils and, like the HTC Flyer DP, will feature two buttons (presumably right-click and erase, like the original N-trig battery-less pens). There is also a good chance that the XT3 will feature the complete 4th generation N-trig digitizer hardware with the complete set of updated chips.
The base price is just below $1800...for an i3 processor! In a trial run, my customizing choices quickly ballooned the price to $3032, which I think is ridiculous in today's environment! I'm not overly interested in buying an XT3, but if I were, this is definitely one case where I'd wait for the refurbished units to hit the Dell Outlet store.
$3000...?!?? Seriously?
