I currently have a Motion Computing LE1600 I use for my digital artwork. I downloaded the special European Wacom Bamboo driver that everyone says you need to get full pressure sensitivity in Photoshop. Once I downgraded from Photoshop CS4 to CS2 I had no problems (apparently the 3D elements in later versions of CS mess with the onboard graphics card).
I was incredibly happy, everything worked perfectly, I had pressure sensitivity in every program. Then after a few weeks I noticed that occasionally when I tapped the screen my single tap would register as a double tap. At first I could reboot and that would solve the problem, then it persisted and I would have to reinstall the driver every time to fix the problem. Now it happens every time without fail.
I had to remove the driver completely and I no longer have pressure sensitivity in Photoshop or Painter. I need to get back up and running.
Does anyone have experience with this? What can I do to get around it? Does anyone have a definitive link to the exact drivers? Maybe I tracked down the wrong one. I would appreciate any help you can offer.
