I have the latest version of a Dell XT2 XFR with both digitizer and touchscreen. It has the SP3 XP load. I wanted to load some software but was concerned that any of the loads would mess up the touch capabilities or simply cause problems. Has anyone loaded InkSeine, Microsoft Experiance Pack or etc. successfully...without issues?
Thanks!

Yes; all of the above, however it was with Vista and, currently, Windows 7. It's quite possible that XP may not have the infrastructure to support one or another of the applications that you mention.
In general, you've got to be willing to take a risk when loading applications as there is simply no guarantee that every application is going to be trouble-free. Fortunately, for those that aren't, simply uninstalling them will almost always restore proper operation. However, if you're really that worried about your OS load, I'd advise you to get Acronis True Image (Home 2011) or a similar application and make a full-disk back-up. That way, you'll always be able to restore your XFR to a known (good) state...

Thank you for your response Steve. I'll look into creating a back up first before attempting any load.

PS: If you can find an old copy of the game Hexic, I think you will find it engaging and addictive; it's a natural on the tablet. If memory serves, you'll also need to install .NET 1.1 from the Microsoft site. .NET 1.1 may also be needed for some of the other apps that you mention. I routinely load .NET 1.1 on all my tablets whether I think I'll need it or not...
