This isn't me selling them, but ebay has a dealer who is selling seven new units for the unbelievable price of 1499; this is the 'buy it now' price, no ongoing auction: think they are only listed for two or three more days.

Arghh: and of course this shows up four days after I bought the 102ti for a grand; would have gladly paid the extra 500 for the 110

I just logged back on to mention that with this being such a good deal I would of course insist on escrow; if the seller has a problem with that then it is probably a rip-off.

Cost you about 40-70 bucks depending on payment method, but of course it is worth it for the security. In fact, even if the price was 1800 or 1900 and didn't seem "too good to be true" I would use escrow (for any large purchases through ebay).

I purchased my motion off of ebay using only paypal. I guess I had a lot of trust in the seller though. $1900 well spent. :D

Well, the seller did respond to my email: The answer is no escrow. Supposedly because the advance sale is to pay wholesaler.

That may be a legitimate reason, but I sure wouldn't want to risk 1500.00 that way.

Yeah makes me sorry I posted in the first place.

No Escrow = No Sale, especially when the deal seems so sweet. That could be legit, but the situation should certainly set off alarm bells (short auction, multiple units, NO ESCROW).

......and the price is suspiciously the same price that the first generation (C100 not C110) units are selling for all over the place. Oops typo......
