Hello all,

I've been doing some heavy research on what to do to get windows 7 to work on a motion le1600.

I bought mine last week off ebay, when it came in it was working fine, has xp tablet edition was noticing my wifi network and everything.

Anyway, I wanted to clear it out and install windows 7 ultimate.

I installed the le1700 win 7 dashboard, but the bluetooth still wouldn't work, no internet connection.

Also, I noticed that my tablet button work until windows actually boots, I can press the button to get into the bio, but after that in windows, no dice.

When I open dashboard and hit rotate screen, it says the button drivers are not working or need to be installed properly.

I also tried the atheros xp drivers for the le1600 and my wifi connection still wouldn't work.

I even formatted and installed win 7 pro to see if maybe it was something with ultimate but the same thing occurred.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

You can get most of the drivers that you need from motioncomputing.com support. I used the le1700 dashboard. Make sure that you have an Atheros wireless card, most of them are intel. You will have to use older xp or vista drivers or go to the Intel site. If you can, connect through the wired port until you get the wireless working.
I am using pro and most of it is working except the sound. Another user suggested using the XP drivers.
