Maybe It is a wrong idea to make a comparison between tablet and smartpen. But I think when someone want to buy smartpen or tablet this kind of question happened. So why not try to figure it out.
I just have seen this amazing video about the Bamboo Craft. It’s amazing ! you can use it as multitouch trackpad and tablet at the same time !
So I kind of have a little hesitate Should I still buy Livescribe Pulse Smartpen ? or Change my mind and just only buy this cute bamboo craft. Hmmm I think this two type of tablet have different use.
For me, I think Bamboo Craft (or any tablet) is for use in a “production” phase while Livescribe pulse smartpen is for use on a “thinking” phase. So If you can buy both of them it’ll be great for working together. But if you can’t afford both and have to pick one I suggest you pick a Bamboo Craft. because you can actually scan your sketchbook or take a photo of it instead of using Livescribe.
