hey what are some of the things you guys did to get your drawing skills up using the tablet? i can draw pretty well but iam just having a terrible time trying to draw using photoshop and my tablet. my tablet is set up really well. I just wanted to know like training ideas and what not. lol any help would be great!:doh:

have you tried sketchbook pro? feels much more like pencil and paper

Try freeware version of ArtRage also.

I've found that adding a felt nib to my pen helped my tablet drawing skills. The additional feel of drag made it closer to feeling like pen on paper.

You could also try searching for cintiq on youtube to see how other artists are using making digital art and what pieces of software they are using.

I'm still getting accustomed to drawing on a tablet, but I've found in the process that my paper drawing has improved a lot. Also, the undo function has encouraged me to experiment a lot more in ink.
