A co-worker pointed this out to me last week -- It looks like Sketchbook Pro is getting quite a few new and much welcome features. The Alias version always did feel a bit incomplete to me. It's supposed to be out in April too! http://area.autodesk.com/sketchbook_preview

Wow, the new features are really compelling!
I'm still using Alias Sketchbook Pro version 1 that came bundled in with my TPC, and haven't had any reason to upgrade... until now!
The create-your-own-brush feature seems very handy :).
been using sbp for years now. this looks like a must have upgrade!!

Just got it this week ... it has all the old goodies of SBP 2.0 which is what I worked with for the last year, plus it has the features of the last version such as the handy "fills". But the addition of the line and oval tool is great! You can actually vary the line wideth along the locked in path using pressure in the custom brush setting I use for 99% of my stuff, or you can choose uniform line wideth by choosing a fixed brush tool.
I also see something new in the colors section that 2.0 didn't have and I am hoping thats a custom pallette but I'll just have to see.
Also, the symetry tool is pure fun!
With these essential updates, I can now use SBP for ALL of my drawing/inking needs ... no longer have to go to Photo for these 2 steps.
symmetry tool = pure win!

I thought it was kindof a program in trial stages... Wasn't it?

Also, updates looking awesome.
Can't WAIT for some of these features...
Does anyone know if there will be a cheaper upgrade rather than buying all new software?
