I am running the Windows 7 Beta on my HP2710. It is suprisingly stable. The only issues I have experienced have been with IE8, it has locked up a few times. The OS itself has been stable and the tablet features work great. All of my applications have worked except for Daemon tools.
The most interesting part for me, so far, is that it appears to use memory alot better than Windows Vista did on this tablet.

My issues with running Windows 7 RC on my HP 2710p are:
The most recent graphics driver does not have the 1440 x 900 resolution of my extended monitor. Installing an old Vista driver solves this problem but you have to stop the Windows Updater overwriting it. I am using 7.15.10.1554 which is a special Vista driver issued to overcome this problem.
When I undock and go on battery the PC grinds to halt. CPU appears to be fully utilised but this not the sum of the usage of the processes in Task Monitor! Sleeping and waking solves the problem. Perhaps OS has reduced CPU frequency when it should not.
Some concerns about battery life having installed a 120gb Samsung HS 120JB disk drive.
Otherwise Windows 7 is much better than Vista

hmmm. I've not had any of the negative experiences noted here. Are all drivers installed? I noticed on my desktop that it was grinding to a halt (AMD Quad core too!) and the reason seemed to be Windows working around missing drivers and an additional processes was running. Once drivers were installed for the missing components the process went away and everything ran smoothly.

I have gone back to the latest video driver via Windows update. Plus I have the system device drivers installed successfully. Battery life still a problem.
SearchIndexer is running and using 40% of CPU time in Power Saver mode and minimum CPU frequency never drops below 66%.
