I have a 3400 that runs fine and just purchased a 3500 off Ebay. When I got the tablet I see that it does not have a HD or the HD cable. I would like to test the 3500 before going any further by sticking the 3400 drive/cable into it and booting (the tablet came ASIS off ebay). Any harm in doing this? Is the hardware that much different that it will try to change my drivers or something on my HD and make it so I cannot use my 3400 again (without a fresh install)?
Also, anyone know where to get a replacement HD cable? Anyone booting off a USB key and running like that? Thanks!!!
