Hi,

I recently purchased an LS800 Tablet, and it has been running well, until last week when, after performing an automatic MicroSoft upgrade, the virtual keyboard disppeared from mt TIP. After messing around with my computer for awhile it appears as if the problem was triggered by an update to the .NET MS framework. I tried repairing the installation, & that makes the problem go away, but everytime I shut the computer down the computer tries to re-install the upgrade and my keyboard disappears from the TIP again.

Since, I believe the .NET stuff was only being used by InkSiene, I went ahead & finally uninstalled the .NET stuff from the computer so that I wouldn't have to keep dealing with it, but I wanted to see if anyone else had the same problems, or any suggestion on how to prevent these issues.

Thanks

PF

Which .NET version did you remove?

Have you found a solution to your problem? If not, you might want to set a restore point and try the steps outlined here (http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.windows.tabletpc&tid=6e38392d-276f-421e-8354-8d6f96aaac38&cat=en_US_9cb21283-57cf-4819-9d2a-397efefec461&lang=en&cr=US&sloc=&p=1) to prevent recurrences.

Hi,

Thanks for the response. I tried several different things, and ultimately ended up uninstalling everything, and only re-installed 2.0 Service Pack 1, and for now everything seems OK (so far).

I had a .NET install problem, but it was not with my Motion M1400, it was on my desktop. I think that MS has some issues with their .NET update. Check out this link.....
