HI All from a newbie.
I am looking at buying a tablet to speed up my workflow. I create floor plans for residential property agents (real estate) in the UK. Currently I visit the property, measure using Disto laser measure, sketch out the plan on graph paper and then redraw at the pc at home. I reckon I could speed things up by using a tablet to do the plans in full onsite so that when I leave the property, the job is already done. I use SmartDraw which is tablet enabled.
I thought a 12 inch screen would be ok and a colleague recommended the Lenovo X60 but are there any other options?

Thanks All.

i'd have to recommend going with some kind of slate tablet because it will be thinner and lighter and more comfortable to carry than a convertible.

Also, just thought you would be interested in this software which is used by residential appraisers:

Any tablet will run the software the same way. You will probably want to choose one with a good indoor/outdoor display.

Hi,

I'm an electrical estimator in the UK and i use a Motion LE1600 for marking my drawings and doing quotes, it works great.
