My LS800 has an Intel 2200BG wireless card. Its range is much worse than my wife's tablet that has an Atheros Super AG. Per experts I've asked, I'm not alone. So I want to replace the Intel card. The problem is Atheros sells to OEM, not retail. The Motion Atheros Super AG card (http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/default.aspx?EDC=1009579) is out of stock virtually everywhere with no indication of ever being restocked. Perhaps there is a successor but I don't know what it is. There also are other Atheros variants sold by GigaByte and SparkLan but I don't know which ones will work for my LS800. I would appreciate if someone could point me to a good Atheros mini PCI card that will work with my LS800. Thanks. Jeff

Atheros drivers are not working reliable in my M1400 with Vista Business. I would suggest to avoid these if possible.

I had one of those Gigabyte Atheros cards in my Tablet. The experience was horrible, I had lots of freezes and CPU at 100% issues, simply caused by catastrophic drivers.

Broadcom based and Intel based Mini PCI cards work troulbefree in my M1400.

I would suggest to buy an Intel 2915ABG. That one is as far as I know the latest Mini PCI from Intel.
