I wanted to use Messenger 5 beta to send ink messages. I installed it on the Motion and on my home PC. I was all ready to start dashing off notes to my wife from work. But after every message, Messenger would tell me that it couldn't send my message. I looked through the help, and found out that "if your ink message cannot be sent, it may be because it is too big." So I started writing shorter messages to see if any would go through. I was down to 1 or 2-word messages before my wife actually received one.

Has anybody else experienced this problem? Is it just me, or is a 2-word size limit ridiculously small? Is there any way to increase it, or are we stuck waiting until the release version to see if they've fixed it?

Smaller handwriting maybe?

I've experienced this as well, and I believe it has something to do with the size of the window on the other end. It is kinda a crazy limitation, and they are working on fixing it I know. I've just been trying to write really small and keep the message short for now, wish I had some other idea for you.

I submitted this bug ages ago and they haven't touched it, I'm officially testing the product so I'll let you know if anything comes of it.

Ditto on the bug report. I filed it along with several other items through BetaPlace, but no responses so far.

Thanks guys. I'll also try making the window bigger on the receiving end and see if that helps any.
