PC1000 external display

I have an LCD display that I want to use as an external display at home with the PC1000. I have connected and loaded driver and can only get the display to show up as a multi display where the screen is split into two halves not a mirror image of what is on the small display. Any thoughts?

very helpful but there is no video on the secondary display.
I read the solution with display properties, advanced, nvidia settings but I do not have nvidia settings in advanced tab of the display properties.

Are there any special drivers I should install?
