Pen Falling Out

My TC1100 pen is falling out; it still clicks in and clicks out to eject but will fall out if the tablet is tipped up. I'm guessing something is worn but the pen looks fine. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I'm trying to remember who dealt with this... It was a couple of years back. It may have been minimage or Sierra.

I think she (one of them) had to disassemble the machine to get at the pen garage.

If we are lucky, she may spot this.

I had the same problem with my tc4200. Don't know if the system is the same, but the problem was soon identified and solved as soon as I opened the case. In my case I needed to add some tape and stretch the springs to make everything ok.
