My Scribbler SC2200 won't connect to my Belkin 802.11b wireless Router. It sees it in view wireless networks and has full signal but keeps saying unable to connect. I have disabled encryption, updated router firmware, disabled firewall on router and scribbler and even did a full system recovery but didn't work.

Trekkie,

Does the Scribbler connect in other places? Like a wireless hotspot? That would tell you if the problem is with the computer or in your network.

Use WZC and remove all other wifi networks including Belkin. Then find again and choose Belkin. Don't use encryption yet. Keep it simple until stable. FYI: I have a Belkin at home and work along with Linksys. My Belkins are N router that I use for select Tabletpcs. Once connected to the Belkin Router, and if you still can't get on the internet or across your LAN, use Repair to execute an new IP address.

I will try it at a hot spot tomorrow. What is wzc? It always shows as WLAN in view wireless networks not belkin. I tried adding a new one labeled belkin but it won't show up only WLAN. I've tried to repair but is unable to repair.
