I just took delivery of a nice new Fujitsu T2010 tablet PC, to replace my somewhat long in the tooth TC1100. I'm finding that if I Hibernate the unit and put it aside, the battery will drain completely in 3-4 days. I'm definitely doing Hibernate and not Standby (says "Hibernating..." as it shuts down).
I swapped a few emails with Fujitsu tech support, and they say this behavior is normal - take the battery out if its going to sit for awhile. Personally, I think that if this is normal, its a pretty stupid design - the whole point of hibernation is to avoid this sort of thing. Comments, opinions, suggestions and so forth would be welcome. I wouldn't accept this sort of behavior from my cellphone or PDA, why should I accept it from my (4x the price) tablet. :(
